Krafty Snail Mail Flipbook

     Hey everyone, how’s it going? Hope you’re all doing well.

     Today, I have a snail mail flipbook to show you! I mentioned in my outgoing mail from April post that I had done a snail mail flipbook swap with someone but that I’d show it off in another post – well, this is that flipbook!      Anja, the girl I did the swap with, mentioned a few colours she liked. She mentioned a few but I kinda ran with the brown and gold as I had this die-cut and journal card set of brown, black and gold images and so much kraft card and paper that I wanted to use!

     There are so many cool ways of making flipbooks (seriously, if you want to lose hours of your life, just look up flipbooks on pinterest!). For my flipbook, I wanted to make one from envelopes because it’s not something I’d done before. I had a pack of cheap brown envelopes, a vague idea of how to go about joining them from watching various YouTube videos months before and some time to play around (and mess up a few times!).

     When it came to decorating, I used the journal cards and matching die-cuts that I mentioned above and some paper from a kraft paper pack with gold, silver and black patterns on kraft paper. I used one or two things from other paper sets and pocket I have the journal cards in came from the Flow Book for Paper Lovers, but that’s about it. I didn’t really use too many different supplies.

     I’m really happy with how my flipbook came out. I tried to make it so that it could be used again after the goodies are taken out. I made some places where you could put photos and you could store travel things in the different pockets and make a cool journal out of it if you wanted to.
